1. Wear

When you wear your denim, lift by the waistband and not the loops: this is a much stronger part with much less risk of tearing. If you’re passionate about destroyed effect jeans, be careful not to accentuate the tears that are already there.

2. Wash

Carefully empty the pockets and turn inside out before putting your jeans in the washing machine. Choose a cold water or low temperature wash and a minimal amount of liquid detergent to best preserve the original colour and shape. Remember: limiting the amount of washes will certainly help extend your jeans’ life, as well as reduce water and energy consumption.

3. Dry

After washing them, leave your jeans in the shade and allow them time for natural drying. Avoid exposing them to direct sunlight as it can alter their colour. If possible, avoid using a dryer as prolonged exposure to heat could damage and shrink your jeans’ fibres.
